Classification	Fourth (4^th) Class Municipality with an income of P8,541,000.00 in the year 2006 from local sources. But just recently, it is now considered as a Second (2^nd) Class Municipality.
Creation	The municipality of Sagbayan was created on February 9, 1949 by virtue of Executive Order No. 204 issued by the late President Elpidio Quirino.
Geographical Location	Northwestern part of Bohol, 74 kilometers from Tagbilaran City via coastal road and 58 kilometers via interior road.
Adjoining Municipalities	North by the Municipality of Inabanga. East by the Municipality of Carmen. South by the Municipality of Catigbian. West by the Municipality of Clarin.
IRA Share	For the year 2006, the municipality has a share of P25,014,583.93 from the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA).

guest_50 : ive been there and i like the place. although, the butterflies didnt show up that time, i was still amazed on my summer visit there. Hope u can improve the tarsier cage cause its so small for them. They need a huge territory as their habitat.and the flowers were still not blooming when i went there. more power and more improvement.
